Although Aloise has smaller florets it makes up in the amount satiny
white bloom on a constant basis. The stems of the florets are also of a
rich chocolate color. Father Fiala named this lilac in honor of his mother.

Jaan is a lilac from Estonia and not yet anywhere in the
Americas except at our nursery. Flowers are a wonderful raspberry red with

Time and time again in many of the conferences I give I refer
to the Russian hues and richness of colors. Many Russian hybridyzers saw
the potential in Lemoine's work and used them to cross more superior lilacs.
The mother plant is Katherine Havemeyer with an open cross. A wonderful
scented lilac and very beautiful. Don't miss this one for the collection.

We are the first to offer this selection from Sweden. Being a josikea
the panicles are long are very heavy and pendulous. The color of this lilac
is reddish. Spicy fragrance and a later bloomer.

Mary Short is one of the few hyacinthiflora's that is double
and has really good contrasting colors from bud stage to flower stage.
It is reddish in bud and changes over to light pink afterwards. Very fine

Thought lost for over 125 years it surfaced in a collection in
Denmark. It is amongst of the oldest lilacs when records were first kept.
