With the world ever changing and everyone very worried about the environment Select Plus Lilac nursery decided 3 years ago to do safe growing practices. We never thought of posting it until a customer recently asked us about what we do at the nursery for weeds.
All our plants are grown without any application of herbicides or pesticides. We do all our weeding manually. so if from time to time there are a few small weeds in a pot or in a shipment we are sorry.

Even at home we do not use any herbicide or pesticides on our lawn or plants. With 6 children it has always been a worry for us what the impact of running around bare foot would be or touching foliage.

We want to protect our environment and are proud to do it. There are more costs involved in it but we as  parents feel the world and all our children are worth it.
